FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used in cardiology, neurology, and pulmonology for studying reaction of human organism to dosed hypoxic hypercapnia. "Dead area" room with volume of 700-800 ml is divided to cells disposed in parallel. Cells are connected one to others by means of connecting space, which has cowls. "Dead area" space is adjusted within 100-800 ml range by means of diaphragm, which switches cells off ventilation; number of cells corresponds to space.
EFFECT: reduced volume of "dead area"; reduced sizes of device.
