Abstract RU 2301095 C2

FIELD: firefighting, particularly fire-extinguishing compositions, methods and devices to be used to protect inhabited space against fire.

SUBSTANCE: preliminarily prepared breathable composition to be delivered in space for continuous fire protection medium obtaining in the space to be protected includes nitrogen or inert gas other than oxygen or gas mixture having inert properties and comprising 12-18% of oxygen. Occasionally used composition to be supplied for fire-extinguishment includes 8-16.8% of oxygen. The system creates breathable medium, which prevents fire occurrence in the space. The medium is continuously vented with newly prepared composition obtained in oxygen scavenging device or regenerated by life-support system. The system comprises fire-extinguishing composition storage container to store fire-extinguishing composition with decreased oxygen content.

EFFECT: creation of safe conditions without the use of expensive equipment.
