FIELD: hydrodynamic ships' heaving and rolling stabilizers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed modular stabilizer includes modules located in pairs symmetrically relative to CL whose front parts are oriented in way of motion of ship at ahead running. Each module is made in form of first upper hydraulic unit equipped with pipe line. Each module is also provided with second lower hydraulic unit similar to first one. Pipe line of first upper hydraulic unit is formed by fixed upper external plate, lower stabilizing plate and side walls. Pipe line of second lower hydraulic unit is formed by fixed lower external plate, upper inner stabilizing plate and side walls which are common with side walls of pipe line of first upper hydraulic unit. Fixed lower stabilizing plate of first upper hydraulic unit is convex in shape in way of second lower hydraulic unit; its front edge is extended relative to front edge of upper external plate and its rear edge is made at level of rear edge of upper external plate and is located at distance relative to it lesser than its front edge relative to front edge of front edge of upper external plate. Fixed upper stabilizing plate of second lower hydraulic unit is convex in way of first upper hydraulic unit, its front edge is extended relative to front edge of lower external plate and its edge is located at level of rear edge of lower external plate at distance relative to it lesser than distance of front edge relative to front edge of lower external plate. Lower stabilizing plate of first upper hydraulic unit and upper stabilizing plate of second lower hydraulic unit are secured to each other by their external surfaces in area of their maximum bend.
EFFECT: reduced rolling and heaving amplitude.
