FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building and concerns ice-breaking system for floating bodies, in particular for drilling and research vessels or platforms. Ice-breaking system for bodies floating in ice or at ice edge is suggested, with protruding stempost and two trim tanks - fore and aft (10, 16) - for keel pitching of floating body. The trim tanks are aerohydrodynamically via trimming channel (12,13) connected with high-performance trimming media feed systems (18,19), and trimming system is made closed. To provide stable position of floating body (vessel) in ice or at ice edge drift of ice or sea current is identified, floating body (vessel) alignment is implemented especially its fore part (2) against direction of ice drift or sea current, and ice-breaking system (10, 16, 18, 19, 12, 13) of floating body (vessel) is actuated. Simultaneously, dynamic relative movement of floating body (vessel) is performed. This movement corresponds to drift speed and is directed against existing ice drift or sea current.
EFFECT: improvement of ice-breaking system efficiency and reliability.
