FIELD: sugar industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves diluting molasses with water to the concentration of dry matter 40-45% and heating to temperature 55-65°C. Hydrogen peroxide in the amount 1.0-1.5% to mass is added to heated molasses and filtered to remove nonsugars precipitate formed. Then 10-15% potassium permanganate solution in the amount 1.0-1.5% to mass is added to a filtered off molasses to form manganese dioxide adsorbing nonsugars followed by filtration. Invention provides enhancing decolorizing effect of molasses and simplifying process as compared with the known one.

EFFECT: improved purifying method.
