FIELD: sugar industry.
SUBSTANCE: process comprises heating sugar-containing solution, in particular diffusion juice, raw sugar melt syrup, or molasses solution. Water-soluble polymer, selected from organosilicon polymer compounds with functional and completing groups, is added to solution as flocculant in two steps separated by interval. Resulting non-sugar precipitate is separated from solution. In the second purification step, if necessary, bleaching substance such as hydrogen peroxide, orthophosphoric acid, etc. is added together with flocculant.
EFFECT: simplified process and enhanced efficiency of sugar-containing solution purification independent of its quality.
