FIELD: electronic fire safety signaling, namely, fire announcement equipment, possible use in systems for detecting ignition followed by smoke release, which are installed in buildings and structures of industrial and home purposes.
SUBSTANCE: suggested positioning of emitter and receiver of radiation above side apertures does not prevent penetration of smoke particles into detection zone, resulting in more even sensitivity, not depending on direction of smoke expansion in horizontal plane.
EFFECT: increased evenness of penetration of smoke particles into active zone of receiver with decreased influence of accumulated dust on operation of optical electronic fire annunciators.
