FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: smoke detector comprises a radiating diode and a receiving diode, placed into a tight vessel, also a single-convex lens, which is a working part of the vessel. The value of lens refraction is selected depending on assigned distance to controlled smoke particles. Depending on the purpose, the radiating and receiving diodes are selected either in infrared or in ultraviolet ranges.
EFFECT: improving operational properties due to the vessel tightness and possibility to detect any particles of combustion, including black ones.
