FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring ammonia concentration and feed consumption; generating signal indicative of temperature felt in room; periodically varying signal of formed value of temperature felt in room; depending on value of variable signal of temperature felt in room, livestock age, relative humidity of air in room and ammonia concentration, calculating cost of products resulted from given batch of animals or poultry; calculating cost of total energy consumed for heating of animals or poultry; calculating cost of feed depending on feed consumption; calculating cost of heat energy used for heating of room; calculating first difference between cost of product and total cost of heating energy and consumed feed as profit factor; determining maximum value of this first difference as maximum profit value; determining second value of this difference as standard profit; subtracting from first cost difference its second difference value to produce third cost difference as profit gain factor; subtracting from maximum value of first cost difference its second value to produce third maximum cost value as maximum profit gain; comparing signal corresponding to maximum value of first or second difference of formed felt temperature in room with measured value of temperature felt in room and correcting heating mode on the basis of comparison results; calculating predetermined feed consumption value; comparing calculated costs of energy consumed for heating of room and total costs of heat energy for heating of animals or poultry. Apparatus has ammonia concentration sensor, feed consumption sensor, livestock age setter; setter for technologically allowable minimum and maximum values of temperature felt in room; biotechnical system inquiry time setter; setter for signal of formed value of temperature felt in room and constants, memory element, feed consumption regulator, feed dispensing member connected to input of said regulator, comparison element, and information unit.
EFFECT: provision for precise economic optimization of room heating mode.
