FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring ammonia concentration; generating signal indicative of felt room temperature; periodically altering signal indicative of generated felt room temperature ranging between technologically allowable minimum and maximum predetermined values; calculating costs of product of the given batch of animals or poultry depending on resultant value of altered signal indicative of generated felt room temperature, relative humidity of room inner air and on measured ammonia concentration; calculating cost of consumed heating power dependent upon value of altered signal indicative of generated felt room temperature; calculating first difference value between cost of product and cost of consumed heating power; determining maximum first difference value and value of respective signal indicative of generated felt room temperature as maximum profit value; determining second difference value, with standard generated temperature of process mode of maximum productivity of livestock being used as standard profit; subtracting second value from first cost difference value to produce third cost difference value as growth factor; defining maximum third difference value as maximum profit growth value and respective signal indicative of generated felt room temperature; comparing signal indicative of maximum first or second difference value of generated felt room temperature with measured felt room temperature; correcting animal or poultry heating extent on the basis of comparison data; displaying calculated room heat energy losses for informing personnel taking care of animals and poultry. Apparatus has ammonia concentration sensor, livestock age setting unit, units for setting of technologically allowable minimum and maximum felt room temperatures, inquiry time, signal indicative of generated felt room temperature and constants, and indication unit for indicating costs of room heat losses.
EFFECT: provision for economical optimization of technological room heating mode.
