FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out uroflowmetric patient examination and the results are used for determining mean urination rate, urinary excretion time, time required for reaching maximum urination rate. Infravesical obstruction index is determined as IVO uroflow = 2,286-0.086xQaver+0.03xTflow - 0.049xTQmax, where Qaver is the mean urination rate in ml/s; Tflow is the urinary excretion time in s; TQmax is the time required for reaching maximum urination rate in s. Infravesical obstruction index value being less than 2.1, no infravesical obstruction is diagnosed to be available. The value being from 2.1 to 2.5, moderate degree of infravesical obstruction is considered to be the cases. The value being greater than 2.5, marked infravesical obstruction is considered to be the case.

EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis.
