FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves intravenously administering Photoditasin at a dose of 1 mg/kg 2-3 hours before operation. Catheter is introduced into urinary bladder with spherical and cylindrical balloons, the first one being filled with a liquid and pulled toward urinary bladder cervix, the second one, having fiber optic fibers with fiber optic fiber placed in it and provided with cylindrical diffuser, is also filled with liquid and placed in prostatic region of urethra and irradiated with diode laser having specific capacity of 200 mW/cm2 with specific light energy doze being equal to 150-300 J/cm2 during 12,5-25 min.

EFFECT: enabled hyperplastic tissue photodestruction eliminating infravesical obstruction; improved urodynamic properties; improved patient life quality.
