FIELD: diffusion welding processes and equipment, namely welding of tubes of different-property materials, namely having different plasticity at welding temperature.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of cutting thread on welded tubes for further screwing them together and forming threaded joint; cutting off top portion of thread turn of tube made of material having larger plasticity at welding temperature; screwing tubes by their threaded portions; heating threaded joint in vacuum till temperature of diffusion welding; compressing threaded surfaces one to other in radial direction till providing close contact on the whole surface area of threaded joint; soaking tubes at temperature of diffusion welding.
EFFECT: improved characteristics of welded joint due to lowered thickness of eutectic layer.
