SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of production of the glass containers, in particular, to the molds opening and closing mechanism of the sectional glass-molding machines. The invention will allow to simplify disassembling of the mold-carrying gear and the driving assembly unit. The molds opening and closing mechanism of the sectional glass-molding machine fixed to the machine upper wall having the hole contains the body of the actuating mechanism, the vertically arranged insert assembly unit with the body and the drive. The drive contains the nut for support of the driving lever tool and the tool with the vertically arranged engine for relocation of the nut. The body of the actuating mechanism confines the vertically passing hole of the body above the hole in the upper wall so, that the indicated vertically arranged insert assembly may be inserted through the hole of the body and into the hole of the upper wall. The body of the actuating mechanism has the vertical sides. The body of the insert assembly includes the mounting tools, the fastening aids.

EFFECT: the invention ensures simplification of the disassembling process of the mold-carrying gear and the driving assembly unit.
