FIELD: railway and street car transport; permanent way.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chair for fastening rails to track skeleton. Proposed chair contains pad member in form of metal plate with holes for track spikes, screws and bolts with projection in upper part. Pad member is essentially long-length plate, 25 m long, with overlapping stiffening ribs in upper and lower parts alternating in upper part with projections to prevent falling down of pads. Invention prevents bending of rail owing to more uniform distribution of pressure of wheelsets on track skeleton, prevents falling down of underrail pads, provides effective killing of high frequency vibrations transmitted form train to track, reduces rolling friction and saves power taken for moving the train.
EFFECT: improved operation reliability and safety.
