FIELD: railways.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of the upper structure of a railway track, namely to intermediate rail fastenings with spring steel terminals that attach the rail to the base. The intermediate rail fastening comprises complementary elastic adjusting sleeper pads with grooves for sleeper fastening elements, on top of which a lining is laid with mounting holes for sleeper fastening elements, containing a flange with a groove for a terminal fastener; on the under-rail section of the lining there is an under-rail spacer on which the rail base is installed, fixed on both sides by means of spring rod terminals, each of which is fixed on the lining using a clamping fastening element, the sleeper fastening element fixes the sleeper elastic adjusting spacer and the lining. The elastic adjusting shim placed on the under-rail base consists of flat and curved sections, and the flat section comprises a groove for placing a sleeper fastening element in it.

EFFECT: repair interval during operation of the fastening increases, the service life of the elements and fastening increases due to no need to remove sleeper fasteners from the dowel holes when adjusting the width of the rail track, levelling the track, as well as when changing the rail.
