FIELD: oil industry, particularly enhanced recovery methods for obtaining hydrocarbons.
SUBSTANCE: method involves drilling exploratory holes and taking cores from productive reservoir in exploratory holes; measuring reservoir rock wettability in the core and if rock hydrophylic property has been confirmed the reservoir is to be developed by flooding; determining capillary pressure of oil displacement initiation in core; mapping this parameter and arranging injection wells in areas having relatively low capillary pressure in correspondence with above map to provide oil displacement from pore space of productive reservoir during flooding thereof.
EFFECT: increased final oil recovery of productive reservoir and decreased energy input for oil reservoir development.
