FIELD: underground or surface mining, particularly for underground brown or hard coal mining.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing elongated extraction pillar by drilling haulage and air roadways and providing assemblage chamber; assembling breakage equipment in assemblage chamber; cutting extraction pillar by reverse movement and venting breakage face. Extraction pillar is profiled in seam plane and is cut in pillar dip direction. As breakage face advances in coal post wells are drilled in worked-out area of cut pillar from parallel roadway. Then gas medium from worked-out space is exhausted through the wells and forced gas-and-air mix flow is provided in direction reverse to breakage face advancement. The exhausted gas medium is removed from mine via pipes.
EFFECT: increased safety of breakage operation and increased mining efficiency.
