FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used for ventilation of very gassy extracting sections with application of gas-sucking equipment. According to method, in preparation to mining of stoping pillar for driving initial ventilation working, surplus air pressure is created in it. In this case, air-methane mixture is withdrawn from operating stoping space to side-located airway due to action of general mine depression or by means of gas-sucking equipment. At winning operations, air-methane mixture is withdrawn from worked-out space of stoping section through connection and air-permeable coal pillar which is created between side-located airway and worked-out space by means of gas-sucking ventilation equipment. Application of aforesaid method ensures high efficiency in withdrawing air-methane mixture from stope due to increased air-permeability of coal pillar after winning machinery setup. Also ensured is safety operation in stope as to gas and dust factors. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
