FIELD: armament.
SUBSTANCE: the high-explosive warhead has a blasting device provided with an electronic unit for computation of the blast delay time, contact target sensor and a noncontact target sensor, burster and safety-actuating mechanisms installed on it. The terminal assemblies of the safety-actuating mechanisms are radially shifted relative to the axis passing through the center of gravity of the burster perpendicular to its rear end face, if viewed in the direction of flight. The blasting device is provided with a multichannel optical-type sensor. The electronic unit for computation of the blast delay time is provided with a device for determining the channel of the optical sensor corresponding to the side of target flight, and generation of a command for actuation of the terminal assembly of the safety-actuating mechanism opposite the side of flight.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of warhead action.
