FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: probe can be used for application onto selected parts of patient's body, for checking patient's physiological state or changes in that state. Selected area has to be measurement area for measurement of changes in pulse arterial blood filling in it. Probe has basis to be put on selected part of patient's skin at place of measurement, pressure applicator to apply static pressure to patient's skin at site of measurement, when mentioned base is applied onto mentioned site, and detector for perception of changes in pulse arterial blood filling at site of measurement. Pressure applicator is made for apply static pressure to site of measurement while the static pressure has meaning that high that it can partially attenuate stress of walls without overlapping. Pressure applicator has shape, which provides prevention of widening of veins and deposition of venous blood at site of measurement by means of letting free venous flow-out go through tissues surrounding site of measurement. The effect is provided by making pressure applicator to have that shape to apply static pressure against relatively limited part of patient's skin; that part occupies relatively small part of perimeter of surface of corresponding part of body at site of measurement to let free venous flow-out go from mentioned site of measurement through wide area of non-limited passes, which area surrounds site of measurement.
