FIELD: dust trapping processes and equipment, possibly used in chemical, textile, food making and other industry branches for cleaning dust-laden gases in order to clean air by suction from dry non-sticking finely divided dust particles and chips.

SUBSTANCE: dust-trapping apparatus includes housing, peripheral inlet for gas flow, filtering member and hopper for collecting dust. Peripheral inlet for gas flow is arranged in central portion of apparatus and it is made in the form of inlet branch pipe joined by right angle with housing of cyclone member having two coaxial branch pipes. To one of said coaxial branch pipe filtering member in the form of filtering bag is secured. Hopper for collecting dust made in the form of dust collecting bag is secured to other of said branch pipes. Said cyclone member is made in the form of scroll like body to which fan is secured. In branch pipe connected with hopper for collecting dust insert is arranged; said insert is made of cylinder-cone sleeve and in the same branch pipe along the same axis with said sleeve deflecting plate is mounted.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability of dust trapping process, lowered metal consumption, reduced vibration- acoustic activity of the whole apparatus.
