FIELD: equipment for plastic working of metals, namely stands for profiling tubes.

SUBSTANCE: universal four-roll stand for profiling tubes includes chocks with rolls arranged in one diametrical plane and mounted on Г-shaped supports tightened at inlet and at outlet by means of rings. Said chocks are mounted with possibility of moving in said plane pairs of cylindrical horizontal and vertical rolls of predetermined diameters forming roll grooved pass with changeable configuration and cross section area. Horizontal rolls are driven ones; lower roll may move crosswise towards profiling axis. Screw-down mechanisms and elastic members are mounted in supports at mutually opposite sides for moving chock-cartridges. Said elastic members are arranged at side of drive of horizontal rolls. Cylindrical compression sprigs are used as elastic members; said springs are arranged between outer edge of supports and chocks and they embrace drive portion of shaft of horizontal rolls.

EFFECT: improved quality of articles, enlarged technological possibilities of stand, lowered labor consumption due to simplified adjustment of stand.
