ROLL TYPE SHEET BENDING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B21D5/06 

FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly bending of cylindrical blanks.

SUBSTANCE: roll type machine includes upper cylindrical roll with bearing units, detachable plate having rectangular lengthwise groove and supporting columns mounted on it; two lower rolls. Lengthwise groove of detachable plate has shoulders and windows. Upper roll is mounted is mounted on frame in struts. After barrel of upper roll rigid ring-halves with eyelets are mounted and they are mutually joined by means of tightening members. Eccentric shaft with eccentric is mounted on said detachable plate. Set of spring sheets is arranged in windows of lengthwise groove. Said sheets engage with shoulders of lengthwise groove and with eccentric of eccentric shaft. Columns may move and engage with eyelets of ring-halves.

EFFECT: possibility for bending up edges of sheet metal by predetermined radius.
