FIELD: metal-working industry; production of the forgery-pressure equipment.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the forgery-pressure equipment, in particular, to the design of the mechanical presses. The drum press contains the mounted in the support frame drive, which is connected with the drums mounted on the support with the capability of the synchronous counter rotation concerning the parallel shafts. On the drums there are the die holders pivotally mounted at the equal distance from the axis of rotation. In each of the die holders there is the mounted slider capable of the relative translational relocation. The slider is bound by the rotational couple to the connecting rod. The connecting rod is bound by the rotational couple to the eccentric shaft mounted in the die holder with the capability of the rotational relocation. The axis of the eccentric shaft is arranged in parallel to the axis of the hinge connection of the die holders with the drum. The eccentric shaft is rigidly connected with the drive carrier. The drive carrier is mounted on the support frame with the capability of the relative rotation eccentrically to the axis of rotation of the corresponding drum. The eccentricity of the axis of rotation of the drive rod and the axis of rotation of the corresponding drum is equal to the eccentricity of the axis of the hinge connection of the die holder with the drum and the axis of the eccentric shaft. The eccentric shafts are located spaced from the axis of the shaft rotation of the drive carrier equal to the interval between the drum shaft and the shafts of the hinged connections of die holders and the drum. As the result the invention ensures extension of the technological capabilities of the drum press.
