FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forging equipment and can be used in mechanical presses. Press gear mechanism comprises slide, press table and tool arranged on slide and table. There is a housing in which the input and output shafts are installed. Fixed elliptical gear wheel is rigidly fixed coaxially to the input shaft. Another elliptical gear wheel is installed on the output shaft. On the input shaft there is a carrier connected through a rotary kinematic pair to the satellite shaft consisting of an elliptical gear wheel and an elliptical gear turned 180° relative to each other and connected by shaft. Elliptical gear wheel of the satellite is connected to a fixed elliptical gear wheel of the same size. Elliptical gear of the satellite is in gearing with an elliptical gear wheel of the same size. Counterweight is fitted on the carrier opposite the satellite shaft, its weight being equal to that of the satellite.
EFFECT: higher compactness of mechanism and reduced wear of guide.
