FIELD: rock-cutting tools, particularly cone bit bearings.
SUBSTANCE: bearing assembly comprises hollow axle, cutter connected to the axle by means of ball bearing with separator made as radial orifices and partitions between the orifices. The orifices are communicated with cavity and arranged along axle perimeter. Cylindrical locking member is installed in axle cavity and may communicate with bearing balls. Balls of lock bearing are located along separator perimeter at different intervals one from another, wherein ball interval in bearing assembly section having maximal load is less than that in section having lesser load. Solid lubricant is placed in cutter track and is pressed to bearing edges by means of resilient member.
EFFECT: increased resistance due to decreased contact stress in bearing section characterized by maximal load and due to continuous bearing ball lubrication.
