FIELD: well prospecting seismology, possible use for studying structure and physical properties of geological cross-section in well-adjacent space, for finding oil and gas formations.
SUBSTANCE: method includes launching a probe with sensors to give depth, exciting seismic oscillations close to surface and recording seismic oscillations in well. Time quantization step is set not to exceed the one computed from condition: Dt<=Dx/Vmax.
EFFECT: increased detection trustworthiness, increased precision and detail of detection and research of structure and physical properties of geological cross-section in well-adjacent space.
