FIELD: seismic prospecting by continuous profiling with multiple overlapping. SUBSTANCE: group of vibrators with linear- frequency modulation and monochromatic oscillations with preset frequency parameters is used to excite elastic vibrations at each position. Reflected waves are recorded. Observations with refracted waves are conducted at flanking positions with respect to excitation point. Emission of oscillations of each of vibrators is stopped in sequence at different time. Observations with different bases and angle of inclination of flat part of wave front from all emitted boundaries are conducted. Oscillations are recorded by multichannel devices. Routes of records located within bounds of preset interval of arrangement of recording points are collected by movement of vibrator along profile, time lags are entered and waves are isolated in interference zones in sequence with account of direction of their propagation. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, authenticity and reliability of isolation and correlation of reflected and refracted waves. 2 dwg
