FIELD: diving technique; self-contained regenerative diving breathing apparatus with closed breathing circuit.
SUBSTANCE: proposed self-contained breathing apparatus with closed breathing circuit includes breathing bag, valve chest and two regenerative cartridges whose expiration branch pipes are connected with expiration branch pipe of the valve chest by means of common manifold; inhalation branch pipes of regenerative cartridges are connected with breathing bag. One of regenerative cartridges is working and other cartridge is emergency. Inhalation branch pipe of working regenerative cartridge is provided with two electric contacts with electromagnetic valves mounted after them; manifold is provided with expiration channel change-over mechanism with electric drive. Electric contacts, electromagnetic valve and electric drive are connected with power supply source.
EFFECT: enhanced safety of breathing apparatus in case of penetration of water into regenerative cartridge.
