FIELD: spinning production.

SUBSTANCE: method involves laying weft in aperture; beating weft by means of batten; releasing base and discharging fabric from fabric formation zone; providing weft beating by imparting kinetic energy to batten; breaking kinematic connection between batten drive mechanism and batten; braking batten through providing engagement with weft thread and spinning machine base; reducing kinematic connection of batten and batten drive mechanism; moving batten to initial position; discharging fabric from fabric formation zone by combining continuous movement of main shaft and intermittent movement of shaft kinematically connected with batten; transmitting combined movement to doffer and commercial roll. Fabric forming apparatus has base, drive mechanism and base stretch adjustment mechanism, base releasing mechanism, aperture formation mechanism, weft laying mechanism, batten drive mechanism, mechanism for discharge of fabric from fabric formation zone, kinematic circuit including intermittent stroke mechanism, said circuit being adapted for joining batten with one of inputs of combining mechanism, kinematic circuit which connects main shaft of apparatus with other input of combining mechanism. Fabric discharge mechanism is kinematically connected with output of combining mechanism. Batten drive mechanism is free from permanent kinematic connection with main shaft of apparatus.

EFFECT: improved quality of produced fabric owing to reducing deviations in fabric weft density from predetermined density during formation of fabric and reduced share of man's participation in production of fabric.
