FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary internal combustion engine contains two cylindrical rotors of different diameters, inner and outer ones. Inner and other rotors are arranged concentrically relative to each other and to axis of engine, are closed from end faces by covers attached to outer rotor with scavenging port of rear cover and exhaust port on front cover. Ring hermetic working chamber is formed between covers and rotors. Projections of gas locks with radial slots are installed from rotors into ring chamber through half of its height, and movable sealing gates with longitudinal grooves made on contact surfaces are fitted in said slots. Rotors are mechanically coupled by synchronizing bevel gear containing gear rigidly fitted on hub of front cover, gear installed on shaft of inner rotor and intermediate gear in between. Combustion chamber with values, scavenging port and nozzle is installed on outer side of outer rotor over gas lock and is connected through valves and channels with space of ring chamber.
EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions and specific weight of engine, increased power output.
