FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Balanced rotary internal combustion engine includes housing (1) with internal cylindrical cavity, which is closed by end covers of housing. In the cylindrical cavity there is cylindrical rotor (2), in which two through cylindrical holes are made at the diameter at angle of 90 degrees relative to each other. Holes create two pairs of jointing cylinders (3), (3a) and (4), (4a), in which double cylindrical pistons (6), (7) and (8), (9) are placed. Pistons (6), (7) and (8), (9) are made integral with rigid joints sitting freely on eccentric cams (11) of eccentric shaft (13). Eccentrics (11) of eccentric shaft (13) are turned through 180 degrees relative to each other to ensure rotation of eccentric shaft (13) and rotor (2) at ratio of 2:1 and in one direction. Eccentric shaft (13) has two eccentrics (11) on which rigid connections of pistons (6), (7) and (8), (9) which serve as sliders (10) are free. Slides (10) are equipped with antifriction straps (10a). Center of eccentric shaft (13) is offset relative to center of housing by value (e1) of eccentricity of eccentrics (11). Slides (10) with antifriction straps (10a) at rotation of eccentric shaft (13) create forces on walls of rotor cylinders and cause rotation of cylindrical rotor (2) in the same direction, but more slowly twice and thus they provide synchronization of rotation of eccentric shaft (13) and cylindrical rotor (2) at ratio of 2:1 and in the same direction. On housing (1) there are discharge and blowdown openings (28) and (29) at performance of work on it in 2-cycle cycle. Engine operates as 2-stroke 2-cylinder piston internal combustion engine. Between cylinders (3), (3a) and (4a) and radial inner cylindrical surface of housing (1) there are metal sealing plates (20), pressed to last corrugated springs (21) and contacting it by platforms. Corrugated springs (21) are located near edges of joining cylinders (3), (3a) and (4), (4a). Combustion chambers (26) are made in the form of recesses on heads of cylindrical pistons (6), (7) and (8), (9). On cylindrical rotor (2) end collars are made, allowing to install sealing metal plates (20) at the cylinder edges in two rows. Nozzles (27) and spark plugs (24) are installed on engine housing (1).
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of engine design, and reduction of its weight.
