FIELD: mechanical engineering; automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: rotary internal combustion engine has housing with epitrochoidal surface accommodating double-sided rotor which executes planetary motion. Stationary combustion chamber is made in housing and scavenging and charging ports which are arranged close to each other. Engine operates together with turbocompressor according to two-stroke method with compression ignition. Housing of engine is made with epitrochoidal surface close to ring and arrangement of double-sided rotor, with gear ratio of synchronizing gears of rotor and housing equal to 2: 1, makes it possible to increase economy of engine and service life of turbocompressor.
