FIELD: mechanical engineering; compressor building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in different industries for compression and transfer of gases. Proposed thermocompressor contains assembly cylinder, displacer (in form of thermoelectric battery) dividing cylinder into hot chamber with external heat insulation and cold chamber with external heat exchanger-cooler, heat-insulating bridge, gas main line with suction and delivery valves and regenerator. External mechanical drive in form of sealed rod contains two electric buses to supply current to thermoelectric battery. Said rod is made in form of tube accommodating insulated and sealed electric buses whose outlets are installed at side of rod and connected to current source by means of flexible electric wires or flexible rolling tape containing flexible electric inserts. To provide rolling of tape use is made of dielectric movable guide secured on rod and fixed guide secured on cold end face of cylinder.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and economy of thermocompressor.
