FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, synchronization mechanisms in gearboxes of tractors, road-building machines, etc.
SUBSTANCE: suggested synchronizer contains gears, mounted freely on a shaft, and toothed sleeve, mounted on shaft slots. Toothed sleeve is provided with profiled apertures for passage of fingers. Fingers are connected to clips on both sides, which clips are made as one with hollow drums. Inside the drums, resiliently flexible elements are mounted in form of two torsion springs of different diameter with opposite coiling direction. In the clips, one ends of springs are held permanently. On the drums disks are freely mounted, in concentric recesses of which other ends of springs are freely positioned. On back side of disks, shelf-rods are made, capable of entering contact grooves in gears or elements rigidly connected to them. Width of grooves is 0,5 mm more than width, and length is 2 times more than length of shelf-rods. Recesses are made in disks, axial line diameters of which equal average diameters of springs. One ends of recesses are near one another and have free ends of springs positioned near them.
EFFECT: increased durability of synchronizer, less time needed for hear switching and lower force needed to enable the synchronizer.
