ARRANGEMENT FOR CHECKING-UP AND CALIBRATION OF MEANS OF MEASURING OF THE LEVEL OF LIQUID Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01F25/00

FIELD: the invention refers to exemplary measuring means and designed for checking-up and calibration of the means of measuring of the level of liquid.

SUBSTANCE: the arrangement has a measuring capacity (1) with a scale, a piston(2) whose external diameter equals the inner diameter of the measuring capacity. The piston has a vernier scale. In the arrangement there are two flexible hoses (3,5), a glass capillary (4)and an additional capacity (6).In the additional capacity there is a means (8) of measuring of the level of liquid installed in parallel to its longitudinal axle. The additional capacity is connected with the measuring capacity with the aid of in-series connected the first flexible hose(5), the glass capillary and the second flexible hose(3). The longitudinal axle of the glass capillary is combined with the zero mark on the scale of the measuring capacity. One end-face of the first flexible hose whose longitudinal axle is in parallel with the longitudinal axle of the additional capacity is in the liquid and the other end-face is connected with one end of the glass capillary, the other end of the glass capillary is connected with one end-face of the second flexible hose. The other end-face of the second flexible hose is connected with the lower opening of the measuring capacity. The diameters of the measuring capacity dM and the additional capacity dC are connected between themselves with relation: dM/dC =√h/H, where h- demanded accuracy of reproduction of the level of liquid, H-scale division value of the measuring capacity. The proposed construction of the arrangement of reproduction of the level of liquid allows carrying out checking and calibration of the means of measuring of the level of liquid in conditions close to real that is the role of the methodical error is reduced.

EFFECT: this installation increases accuracy of calibration by way of selection optimal constructive parameters of the measuring and the additional capacity.
