FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, high voltage switches of electric networks.
SUBSTANCE: device for recording commutation wear of a switch contains trans-reactor, current transformer, high voltage switch having a drive enabling electromagnet, rectifier, divider of voltage on resistors, four diode-resistor circuits, damage relay, impulse generator, impulse counter, first memorizing capacitor, linearization transformer assembled on composite transistor, and a coincidence circuit. Device also includes additional relay and second memorizing capacitor, capacity of which equals the capacity of first memorizing capacitor multiplied by coefficient of wear increase during switching of switch to short circuit mode in the cycle of "switch short circuit mode enabling with following disabling", while second memorizing capacitor is connected in parallel to first memorizing capacitor via closing contact of additional relay with closing slowdown, coil of which is connected in parallel with electromagnet for enabling the switch drive.
EFFECT: increased precision when determining overhaul time spans for switches.
