FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to constant-velocity universal joints. According to one design version, said double joint consists of two yokes and cross and additional intermediate part. Said part two eyes connected with joint cross and two pins connected with yoke of one shaft, and it has two axes of rotation, one of which is common with axis of cross. Additional intermediate part is provided with angular symmetry adjustment mechanism made to provide positioning of said axis of cross at similar angles relative to driving and driven shafts. Said angular symmetry adjustment mechanism can be in form of guide coaxial to axis of additional intermediate part, articulated slider or sliders on said part, hinge-connected by levers with driving and driven shafts, points of attachment of hinge joints on shafts are equally spaced from center on joint. Angular symmetry adjustment mechanism can be made in from of four or more spur gear wheels, first and second of which are of equal size and are secured, one, fixed on one yoke and coaxially to its axis and second, sliding, at the same axis, being coupled by ring guide with second yoke in plane of said toke. Third and fourth gear wheels are of relatively equal size, being arranged at axis of additional intermediate part and in series-connected with first and second gear wheels. Angular symmetry adjustment mechanism can be made in form of three or more bevel gear wheels, two of which are of equal size and are secured, one, fixed, on one yoke and coaxially to its axis, and second, sliding, at the same axis and is coupled by ring guide with second yoke in plane of this yoke, and third bevel gear wheel is secured on axle of additional intermediate part for engagement with two first gear wheels. According to other design version, double joint consists of two Hooke's joints and has hollow telescopic propeller shaft, and driving and driven shafts are connected by inner ball joint arranged at equal distance from both crosses. Cross or crosses of joint can be made in form of ring.
EFFECT: increased service life of constant-velocity universal joints.
