MULTI-HULL SHIP /VERSIONS/ Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC B63B1/00 B63B35/00

Abstract RU 2579633 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, namely to trimarans, polymarans and catamarans. Multi-hull ship consists of two or more hulls and beams between them. Vessel has two or more hulls, which are interconnected by two transverse beams, one of which is connected with hulls by two transverse bearings, and second is hinged in pairs or one universal ball joint or Cardanic joint or constant velocity joint (CVJ). However, other beams are connected in pairs by means of lever mechanism, which consists of one vertical lever or are connected by means of lever-crank mechanism, which consists of one horizontal link and lever. Second beam can be fixed transversely on hulls sliding across with possibility of transverse motion with help of automatic tracking system. Transverse beam is connected to each hull by one or two transverse bearings.

EFFECT: reduced forces and mitigation of movement at sea.
