SUBSTANCE: the offered device has a control desk, memory unit, unit of electronic chart library, preliminary record control unit, unit for forming of carrier relative coordinates, on-line memory, unit for forming of a video signal, readout and synchronization unit, coast-line input unit, unit for forming of coast-line relative coordinates, unit for forming of spatial distribution and analysis of radar scanning ability connected in a definite way. The dimension of the simulated area of floating may compose the field of a square with a side of several hundreds of kilometers with a discreteness of coast-line forming equal to the resolving power of the scanning radar in range.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of simulation of radar reflections from the coast-line on the scanning radar screen relative to the moving ship-carrier of this radar.
