SUBSTANCE: structure of data on the record carrier switches on a temporary defect management time zone where the data block is stored. The data block includes the information on record and the time information on a status of the record carrier. The information on record gives the information on zones of continuous record in the field of data of the record carrier. The time information on a status of the carrier of record gives the information on a status of the record carrier and contains, at least, one index of the information in a time zone of management of defects.
EFFECT: optimisation of defects management by means of the information on a status of the record carrier.
