FIELD: electrical engineering; adjusting and controlling alternating-current power supply systems and inductive input circuit using this choke.

SUBSTANCE: proposed choke has following parts: first core part made of high magnetic permeability material that forms continuous magnetic ring circuit; second core part made of high magnetic permeability material that forms magnetic ring circuit opened at definite point by means of slit; magnetic screening strip made of material characterized in low magnetic permeability, high electric conductivity, and high heat conductivity which is placed between first and second core parts; Magnetic ring circuits of first and second core parts are disposed in side-by-side manner with magnetic screening strip in-between. Coil is wound so that it actually crosses both magnetic ring circuits sequentially.

EFFECT: enhanced stability of eliminating any voltage rise without producing steep-front pulse current, reduced heating caused by electromagnetic noise.
