FIELD: digital radio communications, possible use in systems for transferring discrete information for receiving signals with minimal frequency modulation.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, first and second supporting elementary signals are formed, corresponding to transferred logical symbols "0" and "1", total supporting signal is formed, value of total correlation metric of input signal is determined, value of total correlation metric is compared to zero and result of comparison is memorized, two serially produced comparison results are compared to each other, decision about receipt of logical symbol "0" is taken, if aforementioned comparison results coincide, and decision about receipt of logical symbol "1" is taken, if aforementioned comparison results do not coincide. Device contains synchronizer, adder, correlator, threshold element, shift register and modulus two adder.
EFFECT: ensured optimal coherent receipt of signals with minimal frequency modulation with consideration of correlation connection between their symbols, resulting in increased quality of receipt.
