FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides hydroxamate composition for collecting minerals through foam flotation, which composition comprises aqueous mixture of fatty hydroxamate with pH at least 11 and is essentially free of water-insoluble solvents. Composition is added to aqueous suspension of ore to form foam in presence of foaming agent. Foam is then removed together with floated valuable minerals.
EFFECT: enhanced activity of foam flotation reagent.
