SUBSTANCE: invention relates to floatation reagents and method of foam floatation with application of floatation reagents for improved extraction of valuable sulfide minerals and precious metals from ores, containing Mg silicates, sludge-forming minerals and/or clay. Method includes the following operations: addition at one or several stages of foam floatation process, realised in alkaline conditions, of foam phase modifier and agent, which amplifies modifier action, representing singly charged ion. Foam phase modifier represents polymer, which includes one or several functional groups, selected from the group, consisting of carboxyl groups or groups, transformed into carboxyl groups as a result of hydrolysis, sulfonate groups or their respective acids, phosphate groups or their respective acids, phosphonate groups or their respective acids, phosphinate groups or their respective acids, hydroxamate groups or their respective acids, silane groups and silanol groups. Composition for increase of extraction of valuable sulfide minerals and/or minerals of precious metals from ore contains: ore, which contains valuable sulfide mineral and/or mineral of precious metals and one or several of Mg silicate, sludge-forming material and/or clay; foam phase modifier, selected from one or several polymers, and one or several collectors selected from one or several compounds from the group, consisting of alkoxycarbonylalkyldithiocarbamate, mercaptobenzothiazole, dialkylthiocarbamate, diaryl- or dialkyldithiophosphate, dialkyldithiophosphinate, alcoxycarbonylalkylthionocarbamate, allylalkylthionocarbamate, ester of allylalkylxanthane and dialkylthionocarbamate. Set for increasing extraction of valuable sulfide minerals and/or minerals of precious metals from ore, subjected to method of foam floatation in alkaline conditions, contains in one or several containers foam phase modifier, collector, one or several agents, which amplify modifier action, representing singly charged ion, selected from the group, consisting of NaOH, KOH, NH4OH, LiOH, tetramethylammonium hydroxide and tetraethylammonium hydroxide.

EFFECT: increased extraction of valuable sulfide minerals and/or minerals of precious metals.
