FIELD: railway transport; signaling and communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for diagnosing condition of elements of current-conducting rail joint owing to provision of additional three information channels in device. Proposed device contains rail contacts, first of which is connected to rails at one side of butt joint, and second and third ones, at other side of rail butt joint along rail line. Second and third contacts are connected through first operational amplifier 16 to second input of voltage divider 10, and first and second contacts are connected through second operational amplifier 17 to first input of voltage divider whose output is connected to butt joint condition recorder 19 and, through gain-controlled amplifier 12 and threshold element 11, to signaling unit 9. Second control input of gain-controlled amplifier is connected with duty selector switch 13. Device is furnished additionally with two measuring coils, four voltage dividers, three threshold elements, three signaling units, summer, algebraic summer (subtracter) multipole switch, potentiometer with three discrete outputs and three operational amplifiers.
