FIELD: insulating joints monitoring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for monitoring the state of insulating joints with AC electric traction. The device contains an adder, two voltage dividers, an alarm unit and two contacts for connecting the device to a rail line. The device is additionally equipped with four rectifiers, four variable gain amplifiers, an adder, a subtractor, six signaling units, seven threshold elements and five contacts for connecting the device to a rail line.
EFFECT: functionality of the device is expanded along with monitoring the state of insulating joints, signaling cases when the asymmetry of the traction current in the rail line near these joints exceeds the permissible value, while providing information on how the values of traction currents in the rail threads correlate.
