FIELD: space engineering; in-flight hydraulic temperature control systems of manned spacecraft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preliminary relief of outside pressure from temperature control system working medium followed by measurement of pressure and determination of average-mass temperature. Then, average-mass temperature is reduced by magnitude exceeding the measurement accuracy and pressure of working medium is measured at this temperature. Magnitude of pressure thus obtained is compared with pressure of saturated vapor of working medium at reduced average-mass temperature. Equality of both magnitudes is indicative of absence of insoluble gas inclusions in working medium. In case pressure of saturated vapor of working medium is exceeded, working medium contains insoluble gas inclusions whose volume is determined according to definite dependence. Proposed method may be performed by means of onboard equipment without any special-purpose facilities.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; enhanced safety for crew due to avoidance of penetration of working medium in habitable compartments.
