FIELD: space engineering; temperature control system of long-term modules of orbital stations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes periodic equalization of pressure in temperature control system with pressure in manned compartment and setting of working pressure. Every time before performing these operations, pressure head created by hydraulic pump of temperature control system and present average mass temperature of heat-transfer agent are measured. Then, pressure is changed to its working magnitude determined as average value of upper and lower permissible pressures. Corrections for change in measured pressure head and rise and drop of pressure due to increase or decrease of average mass temperature of heat-transfer agent are taken into account.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and accuracy.
